National Conference Report on TECEEE: Trends and Emerging Concepts in Electrical and Electronics Engineering”

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering organised the national conference on TECEEE: Trends and Emerging Concepts in Electrical and Electronics Engineering” on 8th April 2025 for the students of various engineering colleges.

Key Note Speaker: Dr. K N Ravi, former joint director, CPRI and Former Professor and HOD Sapthagiri College of engineering, Bangalore, and also session chair for the day of conference.

Dr. K.N Ravi has presented the key note address on “ Trends in High voltage” and also focussed on research area on different insulators which has the good resistant property. The students enjoyed with the overview of the high voltage and Transmission in AC and DC for longer distances.

We invited technical papers on domains like internet of Energy, smart grids, AI in power systems, Sensor technologies, Digital signal processing, embedded systems, advanced control systems, EV technology, Battery Management systems and Wireless power transfer etc.

Report of Seminar on Current trends in semiconductor Technology

The Department of Basic Sciences at RR Institute of Technology organized a seminar on the topic "Current Trends in Semiconductor Technology" on March 28, 2025. The event aimed to explore the latest developments and trends in the semiconductor industry, which plays a pivotal role in various technological advancements.

The seminar commenced with a warm welcome by Dr. Anita R Shettar, Associate Professor at RR Institute of Technology, who greeted the resource person, faculty members, and students attending the session. Anand, student of 8th semester introduced the guest to the gathering.

The seminar's main session was led by Ms. Arpita Airani, a distinguished professional with extensive experience in integrated chip design. She began her presentation by discussing the evolution of semiconductors and the enduring significance of Moore's Law, which has governed the pace of technological advancement in the semiconductor industry for decades.

The seminar was an insightful and informative session, providing attendees with a deep understanding of the latest developments in semiconductor technology. The discussions on emerging trends and the future of the industry sparked significant interest among the students and faculty members.

The Department of Basic Sciences at RR Institute of Technology thanked Ms. Arpita Airani for her engaging presentation and for sharing her expertise on the subject. 149 students actively participated in seminar.
